In the UK we are raising money for Ocean FM's Help a Local Child and the Justgive page widgit is below. In Gambia the funds raised from the car auction are distributed to local charities. More information on the Gambian Charities will be added in the next week.

Ocean FM's charity, Help a Local Child was launched in 2003 with a commitment to helping local children and young people up to the age of 18 who experience the negative effects of poverty, abuse, neglect, homelessness, violence, crime, illness and disability.

There are many children in Hampshire & the Isle of Wight who are carers for their own parents or who are indirect victims of domestic violence or suffer daily pain due to illness. In this world of glamour and gain, these are the children Ocean FM want to help
